7 Easy Ways to Enjoy the Present Moment

present-moment“Realize deeply that the present moment is all you ever have” – Eckhart Tolle

A busy lifestyle is what everyone is used to in modern society. We have all done it; mindlessly skipped from one task to another without a break. It’s like being a hamster in a cage on one of those wheels, except you never get off! Is it any wonder that stress related illnesses are on the rise in Western society?

Developing the ability to enjoy the present moment several times a day can break up the mindless business and therefore reduce your stress levels. When you are feeling more relaxed every day as a result, you will be happier, healthier and more productive.

The wonderful thing about cultivating an appreciation for the present moment is it requires very little effort. You can start your day doing it, you can progress through your day doing it and you can end your day doing it.

When I first decided to improve my life, this concept was lost on me. I had no idea what I was missing. I was frantically writing business plans, health plans, developing ideas, attending meetings and generally being all over the place.

Even though I was getting deeply involved with many strategies taught within the self improvement industry, I found myself feeling strangely unfilled.

It was only through deep self-reflection that I realised that I wasn’t ‘Stopping to smell the Roses’. It became clear to me that I had to start enjoying the present moment a lot more often.

There are 7 Easy ways to start Enjoying the present moment:

1-Appreciate your Waking Moments

Instead of just shutting off your alarm and sluggishly rolling out of bed; just lie still and appreciate the new day. As you lie there focus on your breathing and feel grateful as the oxygen fills your body in this new day of your life. As you allow the feelings of gratitude to fill your spirit really appreciate the comfort that your bed has given you and then acknowledge how grateful you are to be able to get out of bed and begin a new day.

2-Feel Everything

Whenever your senses are being stimulated, make the effort to notice everything. If you are walking in the park notice the depth of the smells, the concert of sounds and the abundant sights. If you are trying some new food, be aware of every taste and texture. Even if you are just sat in your office notice how your body feels on the chair and acknowledge your fingers as they hit the keyboard (I’ve just done it and it really works).

3-Smile

Originally I thought that this idea was too simple and a little crazy. However, when I started to just stop at random points during the day, embrace the present moment and smile my days started to improve. Research suggests that smiling changes the hormones produced by your body, actually easing stress.

Smile randomly, smile at other people, smile at every living creature you encounter and enjoy the results.

4-Do what you’re doing

We have all attempted to multi-task and I’m sure you’d admit that it isn’t the most efficient way to get things done. Focusing on what you are doing and making that the only thing you are doing not only increases the likelihood of you enjoying it, it also increases the quality with which the task will be completed.

5 – Celebrate

When I set my first goals I realised that I wasn’t spending any time celebrating the ‘small wins’. My days were packed with things to do and I was just moving from one thing to another even though I was having some successes. I discovered that it is important to get present and celebrate when you have completed a task successfully. This can be anything from a 10 minute break to watch something funny or just to simply acknowledge yourself and give yourself a little “well done”.

6-Random Gratitude

When you are feeling grateful for something that you are currently experiencing you are enjoying the present moment. One sure fire way to accomplish this is to simply become aware of your heartbeat and feel grateful for it beating away in the centre of your chest.  You can extend this practice into being grateful for everything from your breathing to your ability to type. It is impossible to feel grateful and stressed at the same time.

7-Breathe

Turning your attention to your breathing stops thoughts from whizzing around your head at 100 miles an hour and takes you into the present moment. Breathe deeply and be aware of the air flowing in and out of your body, giving you the gift of oxygen as it does so.

Allowing yourself to embrace the present moment several times a day will be an amazing gift that you give yourself allowing a happier, healthier, less stressful life.

5 Things Successful People do When ‘It all goes Wrong’ (Just doing #4 will Help)

ID-10075457I am a big fan of the phrase “sometimes life just happens”. What I mean by this, sometimes life will throw an unexpected challenge your way. However, sometimes life will just, flat out open a trap door from under you. You know, those times when you don’t know where to turn and you don’t know what to do.

You start to panic and you start to either ‘freeze’ or start to act like a crazy person.

There are some who people who respond to ‘life’s trap door’ with a huge measure of relaxed control.

How the heck do they do it?!

Below are 5 Things that they do to positively overcome an onslaught of adversity.

They See the Situation as it is…NOT worse than it is!

When a negative situation shows itself in our life, our mind absolutely loves exaggerating the extent of it. In a instant our mind can turn forgetting to pay a bill into becoming totally bankrupt. A happy, relaxed, successful person will tell you to focus on the reality of the situation and don’t add bits on.

They Focus on the Fact that Every Problem has a Solution

Once you have this realization you are cultivating the ability to deal with whatever comes your way. We live in a universe where things exist in opposites. Hot/Cold, Up/Down, Big/Small etc. Shifting your focus to the opposite of your problem (the solution) you are directing your mind to a more positive outcome.

They find things to be Grateful for

When things are ‘falling apart’ it is the can be a real challenge to focus on being grateful. You may not feel like feeling grateful for a long time in fact. However, happy, successful people know that finding things to be grateful for during the toughest times can shift your focus and bring you into a ‘Solution Focused’ mindset much quicker. By truly getting in touch with some of the things that you are grateful for you are taking control over the ‘crisis’ and turning it into a workable situation. You are taking back control because you are now the driving force of your mind.

They Stop ‘Negative Thought Cycles’

Negative thought cycles are those negative thoughts that just keep coming back into your head. You keep thinking “What the heck am I going to do?”, “Why always me?”, “I knew this would happen”. These thought patterns are stopping you from finding a creative solution and you’re making yourself feel even worse. A great strategy employed by the happy, successful elite is the ability to ask solution focused questions:

What is the best way for me to find a solution?

If there was a positive reason for this happening to me what would it be?

What am I willing to do to make things the way I want them to be?

By asking questions like these you are once again, powerfully shifting your focus to solutions.

They accept the Situation

By truly practising the art of acceptance you are detaching yourself from the dramatic, over exaggerations of the situation and you are left with the simple truth. When you stop yourself from reacting on impulse the challenges you are facing become much more simple. Without proper control our natural instinct tends to be to react. These reactions can often make the situation worse. The solution focused course of action is to ‘respond’ rather than ‘react’.

Above all, when you are faced with these very difficult situations the fact of the matter is whatever has happened has happened and when it comes to managing the situation. The choice is yours.

I’d love to hear about how you stay relaxed when it seems like ‘everything’ is going wrong?

4 Things Goal Achievers will do in 2015 (Number 2 Takes the most Effort)

ID-100192667We are half way through the first month of 2015 and unfortunately there are already some people out there who have lost sight achieving their goals this year. You deserve to achieve every single one of your goals, as does everyone. We have an abundance of potential locked inside of us and it just takes some smart work to release it. Success can never be ‘guaranteed’ but it can be made more likely.

There are 4 things that people that look back on 2015 with a smile of achievement are going to do:

1. Take Daily Action on Bite Sized ‘Chunks’ of their ultimate Goal

As Tony Robbins says; “Clarity is Power!”. The people who achieve their goals in 2015 aren’t just going to have goals for the whole year; they are going to have things that they can do every day and every week to make progress towards their goals. For Example, if your goal is to make £3000 per month in Sales Commissions, you can enhance your likelihood of achieving this by ‘chunking’ it down. If each client makes you £1000, you have to bring in 3 clients per month. If your average sales ratio is 1 Sale out of every 10 meetings then you need to organize, plan and attend 30 meetings per month. The successful people of 2015 will take this a step further by scheduling 2 meetings per working day (40 per month), just to be safe).

The people that fall short of their goals in 2015 may not have a clear idea of how to get there and without breaking the goal down into bite sized chunks they be too overwhelmed to even get started.

2. Work on their Goals Even When they can’t be Bothered

People who are successful in 2015 will show up every single day of the year to make a dent in their goals. They may not feel motivated at the start of the gym session but the motivation will come as they realise ‘they’re doing it anyway’. Of course, sometimes you will make ‘quantum leaps’ but more often than not you are going to have to be disciplined and take action every day to achieve your goals this year. Make a commitment to realizing that the most important meeting, gym session or phone call is the one that you can’t be bothered with.

3. Stay Healthy

To really achieve all of their goals in 2015 the successful people are going to stay healthy. People that are successful this year are going to place a lot of emphasis on eating well, exercising and staying relaxed. They are going to consciously take control of their daily habits so they can stay healthy and be in a state to achieve all year. Staying healthy this year will allow you to be energized enough to achieve your goals. Make a record of the things that you are doing every day and ask yourself “are these actions are going to allow you to be successful this year?” If not commit to changing the negative habits into positive, healthy ones.

4. Stay Positive and Confident

You don’t need to know much about happy, successful people to realize that they stay positive and confident. People that do not achieve success this year will become entangled in negative thought processes. Thought processes like; ‘I’m not good enough, or ‘I’m not ready’. The people that achieve success in 2015 will not let negative thoughts hold them back. They will reframe these negative thoughts and turn their ‘inner critic’ into an ‘inner coach’. Without taking control of your moment to moment thought processes life can be a pretty negative place to be as highlighted in this video

How to be More Organized: The 7 Habits of Highly Organized People

1-more-organizedBeing organized comes from developing a collection of habits that allows to become and remain that type of person. Here are the 7 habits of highly organized people so you can finally figure out how to be more organized in your life.

1. What Gets Scheduled, Gets Done

Highly organized people recognize that being organized and staying productive is a match made in heaven. They schedule everything that they have to do that day, week and month. They set deadlines that they actually stick to so that they can achieve their goals. If you are living an un-organized, messy lifestyle, you will find it extremely difficult to meet your deadlines and you may not even have time to set any in the first place.  Do this now: write down everything that you want to achieve this year and then schedule the things that you need to do this week to get the ball rolling. Then stick to it!

2. Do it Now Technology

My good friend Rhydian over at Thought Support coined this phrase and it lends itself to what is the opposite of procrastination and that it is ‘Doing it NOW!’. The more that time that passes before you do something, the more of a challenge it will be to get it completed. I’m guessing that you want your life to be as low in stress as possible; one way to do this is to make sure you put in the effort to get tasks completed as soon as possible. What you’ll notice is, you’ll start to feel more on top of things and generally more organized.

3. Write Everything Down

My girlfriend is always asking me “How do you remember everything, all the time?” The truth is I don’t use any weird memory tricks, I just write everything down. Once you have completed the task of putting pen to paper, not only do you have a physical reminder that you can place somewhere you will see it, you have also imprinted the item onto your subconscious mind making recall more likely. Getting things like birthdays, shopping lists, Christmas presents and important meeting dates out of your head and on to paper will make you more organized and make your life a lot easier.

4. Delegate, Delegate, Delegate

Those people with really organized lives have days that only focus on a few core responsibilities. Once you have your list of things that you need to do that day or week, place a star next to the once that other people can do for you. For example, today I paid people to back up my website, do some printing for me and deliver my shopping. This allowed me to spend time focused on the activities that contribute the most to my goals.

5. Everything Has its Place

Highly organized people know exactly where everything goes. It is easy to become one of these people. Create storage spaces that make it easy for you to reach for the things that you use on a daily basis and don’t allow these spaces to become cluttered. Imagine you could add up all of the time you have spent looking for your keys, your wallet or a pen? Once everything has its place you will notice that you are getting things done easier because you have freed up the time that you used to spend looking for things.

6. The 365 Day Rule

If you haven’t used it for the last year, get rid of it. People who are highly organized only hold on to what they need and what they really really want. Having less things allows you to enjoy the things that you do have and you’ll feel a sense of clarity from actually using everything that you own. There is nothing worse than cluttering your mind with the thought that you haven’t got enough space for everything that you own. Remove that thought by removing the clutter.

7. Work Hard When you need to

If you need to push the limit of how hard you have to work to stay on track and get things done. So be it!. The business of being in the highly organized elite is not easy but it’s simple. Realize that working hard right now will allow you to be clutter free in the physical, mental and emotional worlds later on.

How to be more Confident in 6 Easy Steps

c1When I first decided that there were several things that I wanted to create in my life, I didn’t believe that I was capable of achieving them. I wanted to write a book but I thought it would be too difficult for me because I wasn’t the best at English in school. I wanted to be a speaker but I thought my regional accent would hold me back. I wanted to be in a relationship but my past told me that I wasn’t cut out for one.

You may not have a long list of things that you want to do but you can can probably empathise with the feeling of really wanting to do something and being to scared to get started. Living in this fear stifles your potential and stops you from being able to share your gifts and talents with the world. There are, of course, many different things that fuel that fear and one of those will regularly be a lack of confidence. Confidence is a learned skill and just by following the steps below on how to be more confident you will build momentum towards being the most confident version of yourself.

1. Take a Compliment

I find it absolutely fascinating how people will so easily believe the negative things that they hear and totally ignore or even disagree with the positive. There is a pleasant, humble way to take a compliment and that is to simply say “Thank You”. Avoid saying things like “Oh no, don’t be silly, me?”. Use the compliments you receive to fuel your confidence. After you have said “Thank You” out loud you can get to work into growing the confidence in your own head. You can think ‘You know what, I did do a great job and that means that I can do it over and over again.

2. Practice Being Confident

All skills improve with intelligent practice and confidence is one of those things. My favourite way of practising being confident is when I meet new people. They don’t you which means you can show them the best, most authentically confident version of yourself. Think about how a confident person would move and speak whilst thinking confident thoughts. Hold your back and shoulders high and straight and speak with a clear measured voice.

You can practice the physiological side of being confident anywhere. Get in front of of mirror, puff your chest up, throw shoulders back, hold your head up and smile a that type of smile you smiled as a kid when you new a really cool secret. It may take time but it’s a skill and you will get better.

3. Trust Yourself

You know what you are good at; trust yourself to be good at those things. You should also trust in your ability and desire to improve and learn, knowing that you can always do even better next time. It is important that you are trusting in your capabilities and not someone else’s. Avoid comparisons. The only comparison you should make is the comparison to the person that you were last week, last month and last year.

4. Embrace Your ‘Toddler Confidence’

When you entered this world you had no idea about insecurities or the possibility of being judged. You just new what you needed and you did what you could to get it. When you were learning to walk you didn’t give up because you failed at your first step, you somehow ‘knew’ that you were going to master it so you just confidently kept going.

Unfortunately, this started to change when you became aware of people seeing you in different ways and the possibilities of positive and negative feedback. If you started to get a lot of negative feedback as you grew older, perhaps you were harsh on yourself and any confidence you had was drained away. When you notice yourself feeling low on confidence, realize that you have learned to feel this way and tap into the confidence that you came into this world with.

5. Take Calculated Risks

Doing the things in the same way that you have always done them doesn’t breed confidence. When I first got into speaking I joined Toastmasters International and I really enjoyed it and I learned so much. However, I began to feel comfortable with the 15-20 people that were there every week. When I was asked to compere a charity event and also be the auctioneer for 200 people, I thought to myself ‘Absolutely no way!”. Then I knew that jumping in and just doing it would be a calculated risk that would further my career. I made some mistakes and had some technical problems to deal with but it was a massive turning point in my speaking career. Had I not taken that calculated risk I’m not sure if I would have spoken to more than 20 people, ever.

6. See Success as Inevitable

You cannot predict the future but isn’t that what many of us do in the negative sense regularly? Have you ever been in a situation that was challenging and presumed that everything was going to go wrong?

I am well aware of this idea that you can expect the worst and then not end up being disappointed if you fall short. But what if I told you that this can just become a self-fulfilling prophecy where you are never overly disappointed when failure shows up but it shows up all the time?

Focus on and expect the tiniest of successes in every waking hour and watch as they increase as if by way of magic.

7 Easy Ways to Stop Complaining

stop_complainingI still catch myself complaining sometimes even if I don’t realize straight away. I do complain a lot less than I used to though. Complaining rarely adds to the quality of your life; of course you may form a connection with someone with the same complaints but in the end these relationships don’t last. There are people that you come across (I’m sure that you can think of at least one) that are constantly moaning about their family, their health, their body, their job or all of the above! When you spend an extended period of time with these people you end up feeling drained of your life’s spirit don’t you? There doesn’t seem to be anything that can stop these people from complaining.

What if the issue is with YOU? What if you are stuck in this ‘complaining cycle’? We have all experienced that feeling where things seem to just be going wrong left right and centre and complaining seems like the only thing left. It takes less effort to complain than it does to tackle the issue head on and find a solution.

Below are 7 Easy ways to stop complaining and maintain a ‘Solution Focus’.

1. Take Responsibility

If there is something that is negatively impacting your life that you have the ability to change, accept the fact that either you can fix it right now or nothing can be done at this moment in time and you’ll fix it when the opportunity arises. You intellectually know that complaining won’t solve anything so put it into practice. Focus your mind on the things that you CAN do and action steps that you can take.

2. Look After Yourself

In modern society it is common for the stresses and strains of busy life to destroy our positivity. Be sure to schedule time just for you. Read that book you’ve been itching to read, play a round of golf, get a massage or do whatever makes you feel relaxed and re-energizes you.

3. Be the Positive Voice

Whenever you are with friends, family or co-workers and they get into a cycle of complaining, notice something positive about their life and/or the situation. This is a great way to change the focus and energy of the conversation. You could also simply say something funny to diffuse the complaining. Although useful, this technique may not always be appropriate and if that’s the case just keep quiet, control your thoughts and avoid complaining yourself.

4. Write a Gratitude List

You will have seen me mention this strategy in other posts. That is because it really is a great way to diffuse any negative feelings that you may have. Stop for a minute and write down all of things that you are grateful for. Everything from your health, to a roof over your head, to your family…everything that comes to mind. This will allow any petty complaints you had to fizzle away.

5. Meditate

When I first came across the idea of meditation I presumed that it wasn’t for me and that it was a practice reserved for the Buddhist monks of this world. However, I’ve found that even the simplest meditation can help. We often allow our minds to zoom off in a hundred different directions. Meditation will allow you to train yourself to calm these impulsive negative thoughts and be more positive and considered in your approach to life.

6. Re-Train Your Brain

Re-training your brain may be a challenge at first and it will have positive results 100% of the time when you stick with it. For whatever reason, without proper management our minds tend to go the negative. It is time for you to become aware of these thoughts and when you notice yourself thinking a negative thought about something, force yourself to stop (you can even say STOP!) and you can say a positive replacement. For Example, “I always get stuck in this stupid traffic!” “STOP!” “I’m so grateful to have a car”. I know that this takes time and persist with it and you will be amazed by the results.

7. Get it Out!

If you are going through an especially difficult time it is useful to vent sometimes. Be brave and share your feelings with a close friend, family member or therapist. Getting it out will then allow you to fully commit the some or all of the steps outlined above.

If you’ve been getting sick of it and wondering how to stop complaining following just a couple of these steps will get you on the road.

2014: Goals Achieved & Crucial Lessons

Time to Evaluate Clock Review or Assessment Management

At the end of each year I reflect on how far I have come, the goals I managed to achieve, goals that I didn’t achieve and the lessons that I can learn. I first came across this idea when I was listening to a Jim Rohn audiotape. The great Mr. Rohn believe that you should reflect on the previous year for 2 major reasons: Firstly, to notice and celebrate all of the successes of the year. By taking the time out to celebrate your achievements you are reinforcing your belief to go ahead and achieve more goals. I also believe that the feeling of gratitude and pride that this process will give you is absolutely priceless. Secondly, reviewing the goals that you didn’t quite achieve allows you to ask some powerful questions so that you can do even better next time. What did I learn? What’s the best thing that will happen as a result of not achieving the goal? By going through the process of finding the positive lessons in each ‘failure’ you are making sure that you don’t make the same mistakes again and refine your processes for the next year.

The major reason for setting a goal is for what it makes of you to accomplish it. What it makes of you will always be of greater value than what you get.  – Jim Rohn

2014 was the proverbial rollercoaster for me; there were holidays of a lifetime, family tragedies and illnesses, book releases, seminars, a pregnancy and more.

My Key Lessons from 2014

  • Going for too many goals at once can cause you to become confused and even stressed. Complete one goal at a time and then move on to the next one.
  • It is something that I always knew intellectually and I really started to practice it in 2014 and that is: what you THINK from moment to moment really will be the major factor in your happiness. Train yourself to focus on what you’re grateful for and to see the beauty in each moment and happiness will follow.
  • Remember to have fun with your friends. I know that people who write about personal development sometimes get caught up on working constantly and I used to be one of them. I realized in 2014 that you have to get out, socialize and enjoy the company of others to really nourish your spirit. Going back to working hard and achieving other goals will then be easier.
  • Being Healthy is easier than you think. Although I have gone to what some people would perceive to be extremes in the past to create rapid results and cure my asthma I have gotten to a stage where health and energy is easy. I make sure that I manage my mind when it comes to craving ‘bad’ foods, have a green juice, a green smoothie, my supplements and lots of greens with every meal and the rest easy. I have also realized that your ‘treat meal’ should be simply enjoyed with no negative feelings afterwards.
  • Nothing feels quite like giving to those with less than you.
  • Helping kids is amazing and they are like sponges. Give them good information and they will act on it and create great results.
  • Make sure that when you create an action plan (to do list) for the day, you mark the Top 3 items that you have to get done. These are the items that will contribute the most to your goals when compared to the rest.
  • The Foreign Exchange is a vehicle for long term wealth.
  • Separate yourself from that automatic ‘Little Voice’ and your true core. That ‘Little Voice’ is lying to you and holding you back by creating fears and excuses. Tell it to shut up and move forward!
  • It is important to keep improving no matter what. There is no destination only continual progress.

Even though 2014 came with it’s challenges, it was an amazing year and 2015 is going to be even better. For the first time I am going to publicly share my yearly goals to create a high level of accountability. Please keep up to date below:

How to Change your Environment and Ultimately your Life

I was overwhelmed when someone that I had never met from Germany e-mailed me and said that he had watched my videos and found me inspiring and that I had changed his life. This was an absolutely incredible feeling and I am so thankful that my videos are doing what they’re supposed to do. My new friend had also explained how I had inspired him to only spend time with positive people in positive places and he wanted more advice on how to build on this.

This raises an important point: You have to surround yourself with people who are going to give you energy and push you up, rather than drain you and pull you down.

If you sit down and think about it, you will realise that you are becoming (or have become) like the people that you most associate with. You think like them, you talk like them, you do the things that they do and you have the same mindset as them. Of course this is absolutely wonderful if you’re surrounded by confident, excited, motivated, healthy, ambitious, hard working people. The challenges arise when you spend all of your time with people who are negative, lazy with low self-esteem, you are truly in danger of becoming the same way. I have been lucky in the fact that I have friends that have understood my transformation and supported it and interestingly enough, to use money as an example, something has happened where we are all finally earning more money than ever before. Although this was the case for me, I can relate when people say that they don’t know where to look when it comes to finding positive influences.

The best thing that you can do is to find these positive associations through books, blogs or youtube videos. You will notice that you are changing your environment just by doing this. These role models that you find through these channels will become part of your psyche just like friends do. The person in the Youtube Videos in the beginning for me was Tony Robbins. I literally started to take on parts of Tony’s mindset, beliefs and habits. This was pretty amazing as Tony Robbins is probably the peak performance genius of our time. You can do the same. Use positive blogs and videos like this one, use books and audio programmes. Do whatever you can to change the people you surround yourself with, whether you are spending face to face time with them or not.

If you have been surrounded by negative, draining people with no ambition the great news is you can reverse the damage. Since deciding to turn my life around I read hundreds of books, attended seminars, paid for programmes and hired coaches. I can tell you right now, it feels like I am genuinely surrounded by these positive people every day because I continually refresh their message. That’s why I love doing what I do now. All of the videos that I make, the programmes that I teach and the blog posts that I write are the culmination of everything that I have learned from all of these people.

As you do this and you become this mixture of all of the great people that you are hanging around with and learning from you will begin to see amazing things happening in your life. From the people you attract to the positive changes that you experience.

It is this feeding and strengthening of the mind that I have become increasingly passionate about in recent months and I really want to help as many people as possible do the same. You see our mind is like a muscle, the more we work it, strengthen it and feed it, the stronger it becomes. If this is something that you’d like to know more about you could Check out my Monthly Mind Upgrade to see how I will upgrade your mind every single month.

How to Overcome Obstacles

ID-100123059I had been working tirelessly on a project that could have been life and business changing when I got some information that was going to hurt the project in a big way. The Obstacle had presented itself and I started to feel anxious and on edge pretty much immediately. I could have rolled over there and then and just felt defeated and depressed. However, I decided to do whatever it took to find a meaning for the situation that meant that it was actually good news.

Nothing has any meaning beyond the meaning that you give it.

I wanted to make a video as soon as this happened because unexpected obstacles is one of the main things that I get asked about. I wanted to share with you how I face the obstacle straight away and how I overcome it as quickly as possible. No matter how positive you are ‘Life is going to Happen’ and sometimes it’s going to smack you in the face. However, the main thing that we have to do is DECIDE to believe in a positive outcome and change the way that you are viewing the situation straight away. This will allow you to get back to it and making progress as quickly as you possibly can.

The Video is Below:

As I said, you ARE going to encounter adversity in your life and if you follow my process of how to overcome obstacles, your life will never be the same again. It is up to us and only us to find the empowering possibilities that the obstacle could be giving us. You can begin to do this immediately by asking the empowering questions that I also use in my morning ritual like “What’s the best thing about this?” or “What is the fastest most fun way for me to turn this around?”. I always say that your mind is like Google; ask it a question and it has to give you answer. Ask a better question and you’ll get a better answer.

What if Life wasn’t happening TO you and it was happening FOR you?

The above is a belief that I have internalised. No matter what happens, I always believe: “Everything that is happening in my Life is happening to ultimately make my life even better”. I have trained myself to find the positive in any situation, I just have to find it.

Nothing in Life will last FOREVER, no matter how much it feels that way sometimes. I have also taken on the belief “This obstacle hasn’t come to stay, it has come to pass”. Of course, it always does. Realise that you can jump up, take positive action and keep going until you win.

Just picking up a tiny tip from this Blog Post will serve you. I know that there may be obstacles in your life at the moment and you have to train yourself to believe that things will work out your favour and turn out how you want them to as long as you keep moving forward.
