4 Things Goal Achievers will do in 2015 (Number 2 Takes the most Effort)

ID-100192667We are half way through the first month of 2015 and unfortunately there are already some people out there who have lost sight achieving their goals this year. You deserve to achieve every single one of your goals, as does everyone. We have an abundance of potential locked inside of us and it just takes some smart work to release it. Success can never be ‘guaranteed’ but it can be made more likely.

There are 4 things that people that look back on 2015 with a smile of achievement are going to do:

1. Take Daily Action on Bite Sized ‘Chunks’ of their ultimate Goal

As Tony Robbins says; “Clarity is Power!”. The people who achieve their goals in 2015 aren’t just going to have goals for the whole year; they are going to have things that they can do every day and every week to make progress towards their goals. For Example, if your goal is to make £3000 per month in Sales Commissions, you can enhance your likelihood of achieving this by ‘chunking’ it down. If each client makes you £1000, you have to bring in 3 clients per month. If your average sales ratio is 1 Sale out of every 10 meetings then you need to organize, plan and attend 30 meetings per month. The successful people of 2015 will take this a step further by scheduling 2 meetings per working day (40 per month), just to be safe).

The people that fall short of their goals in 2015 may not have a clear idea of how to get there and without breaking the goal down into bite sized chunks they be too overwhelmed to even get started.

2. Work on their Goals Even When they can’t be Bothered

People who are successful in 2015 will show up every single day of the year to make a dent in their goals. They may not feel motivated at the start of the gym session but the motivation will come as they realise ‘they’re doing it anyway’. Of course, sometimes you will make ‘quantum leaps’ but more often than not you are going to have to be disciplined and take action every day to achieve your goals this year. Make a commitment to realizing that the most important meeting, gym session or phone call is the one that you can’t be bothered with.

3. Stay Healthy

To really achieve all of their goals in 2015 the successful people are going to stay healthy. People that are successful this year are going to place a lot of emphasis on eating well, exercising and staying relaxed. They are going to consciously take control of their daily habits so they can stay healthy and be in a state to achieve all year. Staying healthy this year will allow you to be energized enough to achieve your goals. Make a record of the things that you are doing every day and ask yourself “are these actions are going to allow you to be successful this year?” If not commit to changing the negative habits into positive, healthy ones.

4. Stay Positive and Confident

You don’t need to know much about happy, successful people to realize that they stay positive and confident. People that do not achieve success this year will become entangled in negative thought processes. Thought processes like; ‘I’m not good enough, or ‘I’m not ready’. The people that achieve success in 2015 will not let negative thoughts hold them back. They will reframe these negative thoughts and turn their ‘inner critic’ into an ‘inner coach’. Without taking control of your moment to moment thought processes life can be a pretty negative place to be as highlighted in this video

How to Change your Environment and Ultimately your Life

I was overwhelmed when someone that I had never met from Germany e-mailed me and said that he had watched my videos and found me inspiring and that I had changed his life. This was an absolutely incredible feeling and I am so thankful that my videos are doing what they’re supposed to do. My new friend had also explained how I had inspired him to only spend time with positive people in positive places and he wanted more advice on how to build on this.

This raises an important point: You have to surround yourself with people who are going to give you energy and push you up, rather than drain you and pull you down.


If you sit down and think about it, you will realise that you are becoming (or have become) like the people that you most associate with. You think like them, you talk like them, you do the things that they do and you have the same mindset as them. Of course this is absolutely wonderful if you’re surrounded by confident, excited, motivated, healthy, ambitious, hard working people. The challenges arise when you spend all of your time with people who are negative, lazy with low self-esteem, you are truly in danger of becoming the same way. I have been lucky in the fact that I have friends that have understood my transformation and supported it and interestingly enough, to use money as an example, something has happened where we are all finally earning more money than ever before. Although this was the case for me, I can relate when people say that they don’t know where to look when it comes to finding positive influences.

The best thing that you can do is to find these positive associations through books, blogs or youtube videos. You will notice that you are changing your environment just by doing this. These role models that you find through these channels will become part of your psyche just like friends do. The person in the Youtube Videos in the beginning for me was Tony Robbins. I literally started to take on parts of Tony’s mindset, beliefs and habits. This was pretty amazing as Tony Robbins is probably the peak performance genius of our time. You can do the same. Use positive blogs and videos like this one, use books and audio programmes. Do whatever you can to change the people you surround yourself with, whether you are spending face to face time with them or not.

If you have been surrounded by negative, draining people with no ambition the great news is you can reverse the damage. Since deciding to turn my life around I read hundreds of books, attended seminars, paid for programmes and hired coaches. I can tell you right now, it feels like I am genuinely surrounded by these positive people every day because I continually refresh their message. That’s why I love doing what I do now. All of the videos that I make, the programmes that I teach and the blog posts that I write are the culmination of everything that I have learned from all of these people.

As you do this and you become this mixture of all of the great people that you are hanging around with and learning from you will begin to see amazing things happening in your life. From the people you attract to the positive changes that you experience.

It is this feeding and strengthening of the mind that I have become increasingly passionate about in recent months and I really want to help as many people as possible do the same. You see our mind is like a muscle, the more we work it, strengthen it and feed it, the stronger it becomes. How to Overcome Obstacles

ID-100123059I had been working tirelessly on a project that could have been life and business changing when I got some information that was going to hurt the project in a big way. The Obstacle had presented itself and I started to feel anxious and on edge pretty much immediately. I could have rolled over there and then and just felt defeated and depressed. However, I decided to do whatever it took to find a meaning for the situation that meant that it was actually good news.

Nothing has any meaning beyond the meaning that you give it.

I wanted to make a video as soon as this happened because unexpected obstacles is one of the main things that I get asked about. I wanted to share with you how I face the obstacle straight away and how I overcome it as quickly as possible. No matter how positive you are ‘Life is going to Happen’ and sometimes it’s going to smack you in the face. However, the main thing that we have to do is DECIDE to believe in a positive outcome and change the way that you are viewing the situation straight away. This will allow you to get back to it and making progress as quickly as you possibly can.

As I said, you ARE going to encounter adversity in your life and if you follow my process of how to overcome obstacles, your life will never be the same again. It is up to us and only us to find the empowering possibilities that the obstacle could be giving us. You can begin to do this immediately by asking the empowering questions that I also use in my morning ritual like “What’s the best thing about this?” or “What is the fastest most fun way for me to turn this around?”. I always say that your mind is like Google; ask it a question and it has to give you answer. Ask a better question and you’ll get a better answer.

What if Life wasn’t happening TO you and it was happening FOR you?

The above is a belief that I have internalised. No matter what happens, I always believe: “Everything that is happening in my Life is happening to ultimately make my life even better”. I have trained myself to find the positive in any situation, I just have to find it.

Nothing in Life will last FOREVER, no matter how much it feels that way sometimes. I have also taken on the belief “This obstacle hasn’t come to stay, it has come to pass”. Of course, it always does. Realise that you can jump up, take positive action and keep going until you win.

Just picking up a tiny tip from this Blog Post will serve you. I know that there may be obstacles in your life at the moment and you have to train yourself to believe that things will work out your favour and turn out how you want them to as long as you keep moving forward.

My Life Design – How to be Happy, How to Be Productive and How to Achieve Goals Faster

We are always hearing people talk about ‘balance’ when it comes to their life aren’t we? Would you like to create a design for ID-100213932your life so that you will be happier, more productive and achieve your goals faster?

Many people face the challenge that is the balancing of every area of their lives; whether it be the job, the business, the finances, the marriage, the health or the leisure time. I suffered with this challenge for many, many years and even when I first started coaching, I was still challenged by it. That was until I found a way to design my life and act on that design every single day.

I have created and refined this process over the last 3 years learning and applying information from some of the giants of personal development and success like Tony Robbins, Paul Mckenna and many more. During this Blog Post and the video below I am going to talk about  the whole life design process and how I make sure that I am ‘Living Into’ the life I have designed every single day. I am going to share with you how you can design your ‘Ideal Life‘, how to find a purpose in everything that you do, how to have a clear vision of who you are and how to mould these different things into exciting goals and achieve them. Now it is important that I add, that a lot of the information may seem a little ‘Out There’ at first but it isn’t magic. Your Ideal Life

This one of the very first things that I did when I decided that I wanted to create an amazing life for myself and other people. This first step is MASSIVE because having your Ideal Life written down in front of you, that you can read every day will make you excited and open your mind to the motivation because you are aware of the life that you are heading towards.

In my experience people lack this concept of an ideal life in front of them, what I call a ‘Fantastic Future’. People aren’t suffering from a lack of motivation all the time, they just haven’t designed a life to look forward to, so why bother? Why even get up in the morning?

When you were watching the video you saw how passionate and excited I got when I was describing my ideal life and all of the things it is going to entail. I have included my vision below to give you a couple of ideas but the key thing is to design your ideal life based on what is right for YOU because everyone is different. If there were no limits, what you design for your life? What life would excite you? What do you want your life to mean?  Answer these questions and picture your ideal life, take pen and write down everything that comes to mind no matter how far fetched you think that is right now. Here is mine for some ideas (notice how it is in the present tense, which is conditioning my mind):

My Ideal Life

“I am a person that is a true inspiration and leader in the world of personal transformations, personal development, writing, speaking, seminars, sports, health, trading, life coaching and golf.

I am someone who impacts millions of people’s lives through my incredible vision, determination, commitment, courage, compassion, and creativity.

I’m constantly improving people’s mindsets and the quality of their lives. I’m a successful internet businessman that earns a passive income through incredible products and services that make a difference in the lives of others.

I am financially free!

I focus on and do what I love.

I am fluent in French and Spanish.

I am a Master of NLP.

I am a master hypnotherapist.

I grow evolve and develop and develop who I am to reach my maximum potential and then surpass it!

I am the best I can be while sharing those gifts with millions of people through,my coaching,events,books, products and services worldwide.

I’ve built my own Charitable foundation.

I have an incredibly loving wife and family that is constantly nurtured and growing.

We live in a mansion in South Wales with our home gym, library, home office,home cinema, golf simulator and studio.

When you have completed this for yourself, I promise that with repetition and a belief that looking forward to this fantastic future will mean that the quality of your daily life will increase every day.

Why Bother?

The next part of the process is to really get in touch with the reasons why you are here in this life. This will accompany the design of your Ideal Life and answer the question “Why should I even bother creating my ideal life?” My WHY’S pretty much just read like a list and when I read them every day it gives me enough power to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to make my ideal life a reality. My ‘Why’s’ are listed below and hopefully it will help you create yours. Again, we are all different and you can get going by answering questions like “What will achieving my ideal life give me?” and “What will it cost me if I don’t achieve it?”

Why do I Want It?

I am here to humbly serve humanity by being a passionate example of the unlimited possibilities that life offers.

I am here to sincerely love everything in the universe and appreciate the miracle that is everything as well as every moment.

I am here to live life to the fullest because my life has a meaning and a purpose and to honour this is the most powerful way to show my respect for myself and for my place in the universe by endeavouring to become more myself so I can set up strong example of what’s possible for others because I believe that you only have one life and you have to enjoy the process.

I make sure that my friends, family and loved ones are absolutely certain of my love for them.

I am here to feel excited about my life and what I can give, share and experience.

I am here to have an amazing time, create an unbelievable and inspirational story and leave behind a legacy that grows and inspires my friends and family for generations to come. Who are You?

You have big dreams, you have an idea why you want to achieve those dreams but are you really the person you need to be in order to get it done? A great thing to do is to create a vision of yourself where you keep your ‘true core’ and include features that you know the ‘best version of yourself’ will have. This can even include things that aren’t quite true…yet. You can then grow into this version of yourself. Take a look at mine below to give you an idea of what I mean. You can make this clearer in your head by asking questions like: “Who am I?” and “Who do I want to be?”

Who Am I?

I’m an extraordinary, passionate and loving man who loves people, family, friends, animals, changing lives & ideas that make a difference.

I love to discover and be creative. I love nature, beaches, beautiful scenery, travel, adventure, oceans, rivers, mountains, lakes, sunshine, wildlife and breathtaking views. To really crank up this process you also need to do the above for every area of your life (Health/Fitness/body, Finances, Career,  Relationships, Contribution/Charity etc.) As an Example, my Health/Fitness/Body version is below:

Ideal Health and Body

I am 12 Stone  with 7% body fat, I am vital, healthy, energetic, athletic, muscled and ripped. I have a clearly visible 6 pack. I look in the mirror and smile and I feel proud. I feel outstanding, I have a high self-esteem, I feel confident. I am an inspiration for others.

Why?

I enjoy being muscled, toned and an inspiration for others. I enjoy being confident. I enjoy having non-stop energy. I enjoy the fact I am going to live beyond 100 years old. I enjoy staying young, healthy and vibrant.

Who Am I?

I’m a an athlete. I’m a manifestation of vibrant health and energy. I’m a peak performer. I’m an exemplar of physical health, vitality and strength.

You may be thinking that this is a long process. It is! However, what you’ll discover is, it’s worth it! Designing your life this way and working out why you want it and who you are is a gift that you will thank yourself for, forever!

Achieve a Goal in 30 Days!

Take one area of your life and work back from your ‘ideal’ and set a goal that will be a stepping stone to that vision when you achieve it! For Example if you wanted a certain level of health and physicality and at the moment you consider yourself ‘lazy’, you could set a goal something like “Over the last 30 Days, I have exercised for at least 30 minutes 3 times per week”. Achieve this and you will be sending a powerful “I can do this!” message to your mind. Every time that you do this in each area of your life, setting the goal isn’t enough, you must execute the final 2 parts of the process with all of your heart…

Robust Strategies and Abundant Action

No matter what your vision is for your life, no matter how noble your reasons might be; you need strategies that are highly workable and be prepared to do a LOT of stuff!

This process isn’t easy but it’s simple. Build an Ideal Life in your mind, why you want it, who you are, set your goals accordingly and then LIFT OFF! When I say ‘robust strategies’ I mean strategies that are designed to be flexible and get results.

Around 3% of people will take action on this to the point where their lives improve forever and that’s cool. Just make sure you are one of them! How to Feel Better or Change a Negative Behaviour by Interrupting the Pattern

ID-100110736The true quality of our lives is defined by how we feel on a moment-to-moment basis right? Over the last 3 years I have wanted to investigate this concept a little deeper to see how I can stop feeling bad or change a negative feeling or behaviour in an instant. As a result, I kept coming across a technique called ‘The Pattern Interrupt’. This particular technique was popularized by the founder of NLP (or Neuro Linguistic Programming), Richard Bandler and I discovered its many applications in Bandler’s book; Get the Life you Want. I use this technique in my life on a regular basis due to the rapid success rate that it has. Think of a habit, behaviour or feeling that you would like to change. It can be anything from, feeling stressed, feeling anxious, comfort eating to lazing on the couch. I have realised that the key thing to realize is that the feeling or behaviour is simply an automatic pattern. It’s not you any more, you have been conditioned to the point where these things are just ‘happening’. The exciting thing about this realisation is how easy it then is to make rapid, positive changes. Depending on your learning style, you can watch the video of me going through the process or read the description of the process below. I recommend that which ever way around you do it that you read the description and watch the video to fully grasp the concept.

How to Change a Bad Feeling or Negative Behaviour using a Pattern Interrupt

1) Experience the Feeling or Behaviour at its Fullest Whatever you are looking to change, you must experience it as fully as possible first. Tony Robbins calls this ‘getting the pattern running’. As an example, I wanted to overcome the feeling of anxiety when it came to building my business so I purposely made myself feel anxious about my business. The fuller you can experience the feeling, the faster and more successful the change will be. Using anxiety as an example, you would ask yourself; “How can I get anxious right now?”, “How would I be holding my body?”, then change your body and head position to reflect the anxious state of mind. Think of the things that make you feel anxious and say what you’d say to yourself. When you are experiencing the anxiety to the fullest you can go to the next step.

2) Interrupt the Pattern Now that you are experiencing the emotion or behaviour to the fullest you must do something totally unique and somewhat outrageous to interrupt the pattern. Your feelings will be jolted so much that you will move into a more positive state. Think of  the simple Mathematics pattern: 2,4,6,8,10,12,14 – if I interrupt that pattern and make it 2,4,5,29,10,12,14 it simply isn’t a pattern any more. Human feelings are the same. I know what the next question you have, is: What Pattern Interrupt should I use? When you are experiencing the pattern of feelings at their fullest, change your body language drastically and shout or do something silly and crazy. You could jump up and shout “WOOOHHHOOO I LOVE GRASS!!!”. I know that sounds insane but that’s great, the more outrageous the better! It is the body change and craziness that interrupts the pattern. Sometimes with clients I tell them to jump up in a really loud voice, then tell to laugh as hard as they possibly can. Can you see how this really does interrupt the pattern?

3) Replace the Old, Negative Pattern with a Positive New One  Now that the pattern has been well and truly interrupted, you need to replace it with a positive pattern that you actually want to experience. For me, I wanted to feel happy and confident about building my business, replacing the old anxiety. The easy way to create this happy and confident feeling is to stand up, throw your shoulders back, throw your chest up and put a huge smile on your face. You know what positive alternatives will work for you, so do that. When you have done this enough times and it becomes totally automatic you will be reconditioned to feel the feelings and behave in a way that you want. I understand that you are probably sceptical, I was as well. The fact of the matter is, this stuff really works and you should use this tool to interrupt every negative pattern in your life.

Start Today and Keep Going

This process is a skill and in my opinion, like any other skill you can’t just do it once and expect to improve forever. Start right now with something that you’d like to change, then go through it 10 times per day for 2 weeks. You will notice yourself getting better and the old patterns being replaced. Most of all, Enjoy it!

Personal Power = Goal-Setting, Time Management, Knowledge, Discipline and Belief

Always focus on what you want and solutions instead of problems.

Massive, consistent action with pure persistence and a sense of flexibility in pursuing your goals will ultimately give you what you want, but you must abandon any sense that there is no solution. You must focus immediately on the actions you can take today, even if they are small ones.

THERE ARE NO FAILURES

Promise yourself that you will never indulge in feelings of being defeated or again.

You must believe that even though things may look impossible now, you can turn them around. WE ALL HAVE PROBLEMS, DISAPPOINTMENTS, AND FRUSTRATIONS, BUT IT’S HOW WE DEAL WITH OUR SETBACKS THAT WILL SHAPE OUR LIVES MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE WE DO.

Work as hard as you have to for as long as you have to, to finally become the success in your field that you know you can be. Life is always worth living, there is always something to be grateful for.

THE UNSTOPPABLE YOU: DECISION MAKER

The power of decision is the power of change. We can’t always control the vents in our lives but we can always control what we decide to think, believe , feel and do about those events.

Most of us forget that we have this power to choose. ULTIMATELY, IT’S OUR DECISIONS, NOT THE CONDITIONS OF OUR LIVES, THAT DETERMINE OUR DESTINY.

As soon as we have a belief, it begins to control what we see and what we can feel.

Most people treat a belief as if it’s a real thing, when it is actually nothing but a FEELING of CERTAINTY about what something means.

Beliefs are like tables, we can develop beliefs about ANYTHING if we just find enough legs to support them.
